My friends Rob and Alisha asked me to shoot their engagement session and it was so awesome!  We started in McKinney and took a lot of really cool pictures there, but on my way to McKinney I saw this beautiful field and talked them into going there with me for some pictures.  They turned out way awesome cool!  Thanks guys!

Weston drove in from Abilene where he is serving in the Air Force at Dyess Air Force Base.  I went to college in Abilene so it was cool hearing about Dyess again.

We met at Mockingbird Station in Dallas, TX for their photo shoot.  There are so many cool places to take pictures there so it wasn't hard to find a cool spot or two and take a ton of pictures.  Their wedding is coming up in a couple of months and it's going to be a lot of fun.

I met Amber several months ago when they were planning their wedding and I finally got to meet Stafford the other day for their engagement session.  We met in McKinney, Texas and had fun just walking around and taking pictures.  They brought the love and I brought the camera.  It just works like that.

Will and Gina are a super cool couple living right in the heart of Dallas, TX.  They were up for anything and everything despite the bitter cold that caught us that day.

Last time it was this cold I didn't have gloves so my hands just about froze, but this time...I was prepared with some snazzy gloves.  If your a photographer in Texas, I highly recommend putting some gloves in your "glove" compartment so you can take pictures even if it's cold.

Will, Gina, and me with my snazzy gloves went to the Dallas Museum of Art, Deep Ellum, Highland Park, and Uptown.  A real Ferris Buelher's Day's Off minus the Ferrari unless your referring to my camera. :)

Some good friends of my wife and I invited us to come out and do some portraits of them and their band, Out of Shadows.  They are working on a CD that they will sell at future performances.  They rock!

I decided to do something I have never done before, which is use my off camera lighting in a significant way.  I really like the results and I had a lot of fun.  I especially liked the jumping pictures that I took.

I can't wait to do more!
